About

I’m Hayato M. Yamanouchi. In the Kamikouchi Laboratory at Nagoya University, I study the copulation behavior of Drosophila melanogaster, focusing on the neural mechanisms that control it and on developing systems that analyze and intervene in behavior in real time. Alongside research, I keep up an outreach habit: I go by “Yama-san” on my podcast and by “Kenkyujo Tsukuttaro!” on my blog. Whichever name you found me under, it’s the same person.
